ब्राह्मण भोज कब से शुरू हुआ❓️

विष्णु पुराण में एक कथा लेख मिलता है एक समय सभी ऋषियों की एक पंचायत हुई जिसमें यह निर्णय करना था की यज्ञ का भाग तीनों देवों में से किसको दिया जाए । 

प्रथम परीक्षा लेने के लिए भृगु मुनि को चुना गया भृगु मुनि ने भगवान शंकर को जाकर प्रणाम किया तो शंकर जी उन्हें गले मिलने के लिए खड़े हुए मुनि ने मना कर दिया कि आप अघोरी हो,मुर्दे की भस्म लगाते हो। हम आपसे गले नहीं मिल सकते भगवान शंकर क्रोधित हो गए ।

फिर भृगू मुनि अपने पिता के यहां गए तो अपने पिता ब्रह्मा जी को प्रणाम नहीं किया ब्रह्मा जी भी कुपित हो गए कितना उद्दंड बालक है, पिता को प्रणाम नहीं करता।

भृगु मुनि बैकुंठ धाम गए तो भगवान विष्णु सो रहे थे तो सोते हुए विष्णु की छाती में लात  मारी। भगवान विष्णु ने ब्राह्मण का चरण पकड़ा और कहा ब्राह्मण देव आपका चरण बड़ा कोमल है मेरी छाती बड़ी कठोर है आपको कहीं लगी तो नहीं प्रभु?

 मुनि ने तुरंत भगवान विष्णु के चरण छुए और क्षमा याचना करते हुए कहा प्रभु यह एक परीक्षा का भाग था जिसमें हमें यह चुनना था कि किसे यज्ञ का प्रथम भाग दिया जाए तो सर्वसम्मति से आपको चुना जाता है। तब भगवान विष्णु ने कहा कि जितना में यज्ञ तपस्या से प्रसन्न नहीं होता उतना में ब्राह्मण को भोजन कराए जाने से होता हूं ।

भृगु जी ने पूछा महाराज ब्राह्मण के भोजन करने से आप तृप्त कैसे होते हैं तो विष्णु भगवान ने कहा ब्राह्मण को जो आप दान देते हैं या जो भोजन कराते हैं एक तो वह सात्विक प्रवृत्ति के होते हैं । वेद अध्ययन वेद पठन करने  ब्राह्मण ही मुझे, ब्रह्मा और महेश तीनों का ज्ञान समाज को कराते हैं ।

हर अंग का कोई ना कोई देवता है जैसे आंखों के देवता सूरज, जैसे कान के देवता वसु,जैसे त्वचा के देवता वायु देव, मन के देवता इंद्र वैसे ही आत्मा के रूप में मैं भी वास करता हूं।

 ब्राह्मण भोजन करके तृप्ति की अनुभूति करें तो वह तृप्ति ब्राह्मण के साथ मुझे और उन देवताओं को भी प्रत्यक्ष भोग लगाने के समान है ।

जो आहुति हम यज्ञ कुंड में देते हैं स्वाहा कहकर,ठीक उसी प्रकार की आहुति ब्राह्मण के मुख में लगती है इसलिए यह परंपरा ऋषियों ने प्रारंभ की की कोई भी धार्मिक कार्य हो तो ब्राह्मण को भोजन कराया जाए जिससे प्रत्यक्ष लाभ मिले।

 कहते हैं ना आत्मा सो परमात्मा। हमारे पूजा पाठ हवन इत्यादि का फल तभी हमें मिलता है जब परमात्मा प्रसन्न होता है। आस्तिक मनसे किया हुआ पुण्य दान अवश्य फलता है और सात्विक वृत्ति वाले को ही दान पुण्य भोजन कराना चाहिए। हर पूजा-पाठ के उपरांत दक्षिणा और भोज अवश्य कराना चाहिए। यह आपकी यथाशक्ति पर निर्भर है। अगर ब्राह्मण सात्विक वृत्ति का है, आप जो भी उसे दोगे,जो भी खिलाओगे उसी से प्रशन्न हो जाएगा।

विप्राणा्म भोजनौ तुष्यंति मयूरं घन गर्जिते ।

 साधवा पर संपत्तौ खल़़ःपर विपत्ति सू ।।

आप चाहे गरीबों को भोजन कराएं चाहे गौ माता को भोजन कराएं या ब्राह्मण को भोजन कराएं मतलब आत्मा की तृप्ति से है सामने वाले की आत्मा तृप्त तो परमात्मा प्रसन्न है।

ENGLISH VERSION 

When did Brahman Bhoj start ?

There is a story written in Vishnu Puran that once all the sages had a Panchayat in which it was to be decided which of the three Gods should be given the share of the Yagya.

Bhrigu Muni was chosen to take the first test. Bhrigu Muni went and bowed to Bhagwan Shankar. Shankar ji stood up to hug him. Muni refused saying that you are an Aghori, you apply the ashes of dead people. I cannot hug you. Bhagwan Shankar got angry.

Then when Bhrigu Muni went to his father's place, he did not bow to his father Brahma ji. Brahma ji also got angry saying what an unruly boy he is, he does not bow to his father.

When Bhrigu Muni went to Vaikunth Dham, bhagwan Vishnu was sleeping. He kicked bhagwan Vishnu in his chest while he was sleeping. Bhagwan Vishnu caught the feet of the Brahmin and said, Brahmin Dev, your feet are very soft, my chest is very hard, did it hurt you anywhere, Prabhu?

 The sage immediately touched the feet of bhagwan Vishnu and begged for forgiveness and said, "Prabhu, this was a part of a test in which we had to choose who should be given the first part of the yagya and you are unanimously chosen." Then bhagwan Vishnu said that I am not as pleased with yagya and penance as I am with feeding a Brahmin.

Bhrigu Ji asked Maharaj how do you get satisfied by eating food of Brahmins, then Lord Vishnu said that the donations or food you give to Brahmins are of Satvik nature. Only Brahmins who study Vedas impart knowledge of me, Brahma and Mahesh to the society.

Every organ has some deity like Sun is the deity of eyes, Vasu is the deity of ears, Vayu is the deity of skin, Indra is the deity of mind, similarly I also reside in the form of soul.

If Brahmins feel satisfied after eating food, then that satisfaction is like offering food directly to me and those deities along with the Brahmin.

The oblation that we give in the yagya kund by saying Swaha, the same kind of oblation is applied in the mouth of the Brahmin, that is why the sages started this tradition that if there is any religious work, then food should be given to Brahmins so that they get direct benefit.

It is said that soul is God. We get the fruit of our worship, rituals, havan etc. only when God is pleased. Charity done with a religious mind is sure to bear fruits and charity and food should be offered only to those with a Satvik nature. Dakshina and bhojan should be offered after every puja-paath. It depends on your capacity. If the Brahmin is of a Satvik nature, he will be pleased with whatever you give him and whatever you feed him.

विप्राणा्म भोजनौ तुष्यंति मयूरं घन गर्जिते ।

 साधवा पर संपत्तौ खल़़ःपर विपत्ति सू ।।

Whether you feed the poor, feed the mother cow or feed the Brahmin, it means that the person's soul is satisfied and God is pleased.
